Poem

I Said, Honor Her

So I said: honour her, a sister crowned thereby,This genius that exalts our land on high,
And more — a gem of our Gamila's own art,Imparting on our art conviction, faithful heart;
She who in all she penned achieved renown,Fashioned her pearls in prose and verse's crown;
The Two Gardens and their imagined spell,Diffuse perfume, melody, and song as well.
