Poem
Pain Befriends Solitude
Pain befriends my solitude,
Who shall dispel my loneliness?
I have a dear companion of delight,
Whose passion dwells within my breast's deep night.
He was a symbol of fidelity,
He was a fountain of serenity;
And today bliss calls out unto me.
