Poem

Were It Not for My Devotion

I bear the burdens that I bear in pain,Griefs that would shake the firmest mountain chain.
I nearly melt from sorrow's heavy toll,And from the cruelest spite of mortal soul.
My cares have multiplied beyond compare,They almost shattered all my senses there.
Had I not loved my Maker with devotion,I would not have endured such cruel commotion.
