ألا أيها القلبُ الذي لجَّ في الأسى
حناناً لنفس قد جفتها الأضالعُ
حناناً لروح قد تحطم من بكا
دهته المآسى أو دهته الزعازعُ
تسلّي بشعرٍ قد يهيّجه الأسى
فلم يسل عنها أو يسليه شافعُ!
