ياويح قلبيَ يأبى
بأن يجاريكِ صدَّا
وإن بعدت فإني
بالبعد أزدادُ ودَّا
وأنتِ أنتِ رجائي
قربتِ أم زدتِ بُعدَا
فواصلي الكتب إني
أشمُّ كتبك وَرْدَا
أرى حديثكِ عَذبًا
كأنَّ في اللفظ شهدًا
حديثكِ الشهدُ لكن
أراه أعذبَ وِرْدَا
